Neville tells how his friend Freedom Barry, unable to obtain the Flagstad recording of Tristan and Isolde, carried on an inner conversation with a salesman who said he had it, then in the shop refused to accept 'no' and pointed out an apparently empty display sleeve which proved to be the complete album.
