Barry says Neville returned from a Barbados stay in terrible shape, having 'gone home to die,' asked Barry to take over his Los Angeles audience, and introduced him to a packed Women's University Club before leaving with wife 'Bill' and daughter for Barbados — after which the LA audience evaporated and Barry settled in Cambria. [Date evidence: coincides with Barry's move to Cambria — 'I moved here in 1963' (stated earlier in this transcript); chronology conflicts with Neville's documented LA lecturing until 1972] [Place: Women's University Club, Los Angeles]

Source Freedom Barry Neville GoddardBarry first-hand source links this handoff directly to his separately stated move to Cambria in 1963.
Reasoning The year is inherited from the explicitly linked Cambria move, but the handoff itself has no month or day; estimated/circa preserves that distinction.
Verbatim (witness's words)

When Neville came back from his stay in Barbados, he had gone home to die; he was in terrible shape. Everybody had told him he was going to last, and he, himself, didn’t believe he was going to, so he wanted me to take over his Los Angeles audience. That was when I came to Cambria, because it was half way between Los Angeles and San Francisco. [...] the night he introduced me to his Los Angeles audience, they were there in full force at the Women’s University Club, and it was full. O.K. The next day, he, Bill and their daughter went back to Barbados, and the next time I had maybe fifteen people there.
