Neville enters and escapes a luminous world from El Camino

About 1952 or 1953, living in Beverly Hills on El Camino, he saw and walked into a luminous palatial building in the wee hours, found himself shut out of this world, told two ladies in the hallway it was a dream, could not get back by will, and returned only by imagining and feeling the pillow under his head, waking in a cataleptic body beside his wife.
