Abdullah teaches Neville to live imaginatively in Barbados

Neville went to Abdullah at 30 West 72nd Street and told him of his desire to go to Barbados; Abdullah insisted 'You are in Barbados' and taught him to live and sleep in Barbados in imagination, viewing the world from there, so Neville slept mentally in his mother's home, hearing the tropical noises, while Abdullah refused all further discussion.
