Neville recalls his poor childhood: his father, unable to afford a present each for nine boys, gave them things to share — a soccer ball, a cricket set with two bats, wicket and ball — and would never let one son claim a tie as his own, so the household rule was 'the first one dressed is the best dressed', and that unity still prevails.
