Neville tells how, only a few months into Abdullah's class and knowing no Hebrew, Abdullah put him at the blackboard to teach Hebrew; when the class's Hebrew teacher objected, Abdullah said he did not know who Neville was - and six months later Neville was instructing that teacher.
