Amerique and Neville at the Erlanger Theatre, Atlanta (Pom-Pom), week of 8–13 August 1927

'Amerique and Neville, dancers of the Atlanta Municipal Opera Association', dancing an Apache number in 'Pom-Pom' — the final production of the association's 1927 eight-week Erlanger summer season. The caption adds: 'Off the stage, Amerique is Jeannette Johnson, and Neville's surname is Goddard' -- a contemporary newspaper confirmation of both dancers' real names.

Source Amerique & Neville Goddard (Vaudeville) - Photo Gallery and Newspaper Clippings — Cool Wisdom Books — 86media:545, 'AMERIQUE AND NEVILLE, DANCERS OF THE ATLANTA MUNICIPAL OPERA ASSOCIATION...This week they are dancing an Apache number in Pom-Pom, which, like their dozen or more preceding dances of the season, is excellent.' Companion witness media:1971 (same photo/article, field_clip_date 1927-08) is independently annotated 'final week of the 1927 season'.

Reasoning The article explicitly frames this as late in the run ('their dozen or more preceding dances of the season'), and Cool Wisdom Books' compiled chronology lists 'Pom-Pom' last among the season's eight productions. With the season established elsewhere in this batch as opening Monday, June 20, 1927 (hist_event 19893) and running eight weekly productions, the eighth week falls Aug 8-13, 1927 — consistent with witness media:1971's own note calling this the season's final week.
