Reasoning Ad reads 'NOW PLAYING' with Gilda Gray in person and The Devil Dancer on screen; the film's national release was 19 Nov 1927 (A006), so the booking cannot predate that. (anchors: A006)

AND ON THE SCREEN GILDA GRAY in "The Devil Dancer" with Clive Brook — United Artist Picture'; external authority: Wikipedia/IMDb, 'The Devil Dancer' (Samuel Goldwyn/United Artists), limited release 1927-11-03, wide release 1927-11-19.
Why pm-actor-533: pm-actor-533: the 1928-01 end is not printed anywhere; it is a guessed 'short tail' past the film's release, narrower than the evidence supports
Reasoning This is a contemporaneous 'now playing' theatre-program advertisement, not a retrospective piece: it announces Gilda Gray's own live stage appearance (with the Amerique-and-Neville dance act on the same bill) timed to coincide with the screen premiere of her own film 'The Devil Dancer', a standard studio-era star personal-appearance tie-in. The film's documented US release window is November 1927, so the stage engagement is dated to that window and a short tail into early 1928 to allow for the live booking to run past the initial screen opening.

Why pm-actor-533: pm-actor-533: only the film's release year supports this; a release date only grounds an 'after' bound, not an exact year
Reasoning Media 1148 places the dance act alongside The Devil Dancer, identified by its title and cast as a 1927 release; since the year is inferred from that film rather than printed, it is estimated at possible confidence.
