Amerique and Neville at Loew's State Theatre (Gilda Gray's revue; The Devil Dancer)

Dance specialty in Gilda Gray's in-person stage revue (with Nat Nazarro Jr. and His Syncopaters, Tom Terry, and a Charley Chase comedy short) accompanying the screening of 'The Devil Dancer' at a Loew's State theatre; the ad's 'Washington at 8[th]' address may point to the Loew's State Theatre, St. Louis (715 Washington Blvd), but this is not confirmed.

Reasoning Ad's screen feature is The Devil Dancer, national release 19 Nov 1927 (A006); the booking is after that date. No printed date narrows it further. (anchors: A006)

Source Neville Goddard - Wikipedia and Photo Gallery — Cool Wisdom Books — 176Loew's State ad, media:1320: 'LOEW'S STATE Washington at 8[th]... GILDA IN PERSON... AMERIQUE & NEVILLE... and on the Screen in THE DEVIL DANCER With Clive Brook... NAT NAZARRO Jr and His Syncopaters... TOM TERRY... Charley Chase Comedy.' External: 'The Devil Dancer' national release 19 Nov 1927 (Wikipedia). Address hypothesis: Loew's State Theatre, St. Louis was at 715 Washington Blvd (Cinema Treasures/Clio), which would sit near 8th Street — a plausible but unconfirmed reading of 'Washington at 8[th]'.

Why pm-actor-533: pm-actor-533: the 1928-06 end is an invented 'six-month roadshow-era window', not supported by any printed date or anchor

Reasoning This is a contemporaneous theatre-bill ad, so the screen feature dates the booking: it cannot be before Devil Dancer's Nov 1927 release. No second dated feature narrows the upper bound as it did for the Albee/Keith bills, so a six-month roadshow-era window is used rather than a false precise date. The city is not confirmed, so no location is recorded — only floated as a hypothesis.
