The California Eagle reprints Walter Lanyon's Father Divine article

The California Eagle, the Black newspaper published in Los Angeles, reprinted Walter Lanyon's first-hand report on Father Divine in full, under his byline and under the standing headings 'FATHER DIVINE — Personification Of The Fathership Degree Of God' and 'LONDON HEARS THE GOOD NEWS OF GOD'S PRESENCE HERE ON EARTH', introduced as a 'COPY OF ARTICLE ON FATHER DIVINE' and credited to the June 1934 issue of the London paper 'The Rally'. The reprint is a fact about reception rather than about Lanyon: it places a white New Thought author's sympathetic eyewitness account of Father Divine's movement in front of a Los Angeles Black readership, and the Eagle's own framing headline foregrounds that London had heard the news.

Source Associate mention, California Eagle, 27 July 1934, p. 9media 1638 field_clip_date = 1934, itself recorded as 'CWB filename date (bare year in filename)'
Why Consistent with the June 1934 floor; not evidence for it.
Reasoning Recorded as a second, independently-based claim rather than folded into the bound claim above, because its basis is different and much weaker: the year comes from the scan's filename, which is a Cool Wisdom Books cataloguing act, not from anything read off the page. Its existing confidence in the corpus is 'possible' and I am carrying that forward unchanged rather than upgrading it on the strength of agreeing with the article's stated June 1934. The agreement is worth something — two independent routes to the same year — but the filename would have said 1934 whether or not it was right, so it cannot be promoted by the coincidence.

Source the reprint credits the June 1934 issue of 'The Rally' as its source
Why The Eagle's masthead date is on the page and would make this exact; it did not survive the OCR.
Reasoning A reprint cannot precede what it reprints, and this one names its source issue, so June 1934 is a genuine floor derived from the document rather than from context. No ceiling is recoverable: the Eagle's own issue date is not legible in this OCR.
