Reasoning 750 prints closed classes at the Palace Hotel on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights from the opening week, and the series ends August 9; paper date 1953 (CWB file names of media 750, 862 and 741) + the printed opening 'July 19' (750) and 'through August 9' (862); 19 July and 9 August 1953 were Sundays; the eighth annual series is printed as 'the 1954 series' (801); 20 July 1953 was a Monday and 7 August the last Friday

Reasoning The archival clipping and advertised seventh annual season establish 1953; no individual class date is stated.
between 19 July 1953 and 9 August 1953 bound · possible

Reasoning Media 892 says the seventh annual San Francisco series opens July 19 and closes August 9 while placing its closed classes at the Palace Hotel. Its preferred filename year 1953 conflicts with a doubtful 1944 estimate, so the outer bound is possible.

Reasoning The clipping's filename and cataloguing record it as a July 1953 article; the surviving OCR excerpt does not preserve a printed date line of its own.
