Neville advises a New York man to assume he is in California

A man who telephoned Neville three weeks before this lecture reminded him that, many years earlier in New York City, Neville had told him that if he wanted to move to California all he needed to do was assume he was already there. The man reported that he and his wife had since moved to California, but only because his company had transferred him there, not because the technique worked — he told Neville plainly he still wasn't "sold" on the teaching. Neville treats it as an example of casting pearls before swine: sharing what he knows regardless of whether the listener will recognize its value.
