Neville experiences the golden-liquid-light vision at Larchmont

Neville recalls one of his own mystical experiences from his youth: shortly after turning twenty, he found himself immersed in what he calls an infinite sea of liquid light, and knew himself to be identical with it -- the experience he ties to Christ's words 'I am the Light of the world.' He notes the irony that this, chronologically his earliest such experience, corresponds to the last of the mystical states Mark's gospel records, while his most recent experience (a vision of the descending dove, on the first of that January) corresponds to Mark's earliest.
Date (happened)

unresolved
  1. 1926 stated · preferred
Reasoning Passage 547537, within lecture nid=1871, has Neville state directly: 'I had that in '26...infinite light and it's pulsing, living, golden, liquid light,' explicitly dating his own vision of infinite pulsing golden light to 1926.
  2. between 19 February 1925 and 18 February 1927 estimated · probable
Source Living Water ¶4passage 546471 (lecture nid 1843), 'when I was in my early twenties, maybe twenty or twenty-one, in the city of Larchmont'
Reasoning Neville's own age statement (20 or 21) combined with his certain birth date 1905-02-19 (hist_event 950) bounds the vision to the span from his 20th birthday to the day before his 22nd birthday, 1925-02-19 to 1927-02-18. Kept as a between range rather than an exact date because a whole-number age recalled decades later cannot be narrowed further.
  3. 1926 stated · probable
Source The Flood Is Still Upon Us ¶38passage 528525 (lecture nid 1038), 'as I was in 1926 while reading a book...it fell upon my chest'
Reasoning Neville states the year of this pulsing-light experience directly in his own words while recounting it from the platform. A directly stated year from the witness himself is the strongest evidence available, but as a personal recollection given roughly 45 years after the fact, with no month or day offered, it is capped at probable rather than certain.
  4. c. March 1925 relative · probable
Source Prophetic Blueprints ¶27passage 529490 (lecture nid 1074), 'It happened when I had just turned twenty. An infinite sea of liquid light, and I am it.'
Reasoning Neville dates this experience to just after his twentieth birthday. The corpus already carries an accepted, primary-document-confirmed birth date for him of 19 February 1905 (hist_event:950), so 'just turned twenty' places this circa February-March 1925. Kept at probable rather than certain since 'just turned' is not a precise interval past the birthday itself.
  5. between 19 February 1925 and 18 February 1926 estimated · probable
Source In a Vision of the Night ¶32passage 531231 (lecture nid 1137), 'That was when I turned twenty'; anchored against hist_event 950 (Neville b. 1905-02-19)
    Why Age 20 spans 1925-02-19 to 1926-02-18 per birth anchor hist_event 950.
Reasoning Neville dates his ocean-of-light mystical experience by his own age, 'when I turned twenty'. The corpus anchor for his birth (hist_event 950, 1905-02-19, certain) fixes his twentieth year as running from 1925-02-19 to 1926-02-18. Turning a specific age spans a year rather than a day, so the honest claim is a between-range, and since this is a self-recollection given from a platform roughly 39 years after the fact (the owning lecture is dated 1964-02-06 at certain), the derived claim is capped at probable rather than certain per the inheritance ceiling on decades-later recall. The previous pass, lacking the birth anchor, could not resolve 'twenty' to any year at all and returned no claim.
  6. between 1926 and 1927 stated · probable
Source I AM He ¶37passage 556841 (lecture nid 4003), 'One night, in 1926 it was, or 27, ... I was either 21 or 22, for I was born in 1905'
Why Matches the event's own title ('at age twenty-one or twenty-two').
Reasoning Neville states the year directly, though uncertain between two adjacent years: 1926 or 1927. He immediately corroborates this himself by age: 21 or 22, born 1905 -- 1905+21=1926 and 1905+22=1927, exactly matching the range he just gave. That internal self-consistency supports probable confidence for a between-range rather than a single exact year.

  1. 19 April 1963 estimated
Source Living Waterdelivery claim d2 on lecture nid 1843 'Living Water', byline dateline confirming two independent catalog claims
Reasoning The vision is recounted within this lecture; its delivery date (1963-04-19) is stated, certain, and corroborated across three independent claim rows, so the told date carries that same confidence.
  2. 19 November 1971 estimated · probable
Source The Flood Is Still Upon Usdelivery claim d2 on lecture nid 1038, chrome-harvested dateline 11/19/1971, confidence probable
Reasoning Neville recounts this 1926 experience during this lecture; the lecture's own delivery date is probable via a chrome-harvested dateline (claim d2), so the telling cannot be more confident than that.
  3. 8 January 1963 estimated
Source Prophetic Blueprintsdelivery claims on lecture nid 1074: catalog #122 gives 1963-01-08 (certain, preferred), independently corroborated by a chrome dateline (d1) 'by Neville Goddard 1/08/63'
Reasoning Both delivery claims on this lecture agree exactly and independently (catalog plus transcript chrome dateline), with no conflicting rows and nothing in the processing notes disputing it. Written at certain confidence.
  4. 6 February 1964 estimated
Source In a Vision of the Nightdelivery claim on lecture nid 1137 (d1, chrome dateline '2/06/64', preferred, certain, matching catalog #191)
Reasoning The vision-of-liquid-light passage sits in lecture nid 1137, whose delivery date is fixed at 1964-02-06 by an uncontested chrome-dateline reading that also matches the catalogue entry; no conflicting claim exists on this node, so the telling date carries the full ceiling confidence of the delivery claim.
  5. c. October 1968 estimated · possible
Reasoning The same passage 547537 is Neville recounting this vision to the lecture audience within nid=1871 ('The Head, the Source'). The lecture's own delivery date is contested between two existing claims (1968-10-14, possible, preferred vs 1968-10-20, doubtful), both agreeing on October 1968, so the day is omitted here and confidence is capped at possible. || v1.1 type repair: written as `stated` by run v1.1/l4/actor417/8000-9999-b6, retyped `estimated` — the claim cites node 1871, not a passage, so it is this lane's inference rather than something Neville said in so many words (#2117).
