Prophet Jordan declares six-year-old Neville belongs to God
Date (happened)
c. 1911
estimated · probable · preferred
Why
Superseding my own prior claim of 1906 on this same field/source, which was computed from an incorrect birth year.
Reasoning
CORRECTION of my own earlier row on this event (npr 60520), which used the wrong birth year (1900). Both his brother Victor's account and his own restate that Neville was six years old when the prophet Jordan made the prophecy. His birth date is independently and certainly established elsewhere in the corpus as 19 February 1905 (his own Army discharge record, genealogy notes), so his sixth year runs Feb 1911-Feb 1912, giving circa 1911, not 1906.

Reasoning
Both his brother Victor's account and his own restate that Neville was six years old when the prophet Jordan made the prophecy; Neville's birth year is 1900, so six years old places this circa 1906 (his sixth year, Feb 1906-Feb 1907), given as a single circa year since no closer anchor is stated.
Told / reported
24 January 1969

Reasoning
He tells this story from the platform in 'Mystery Election'; the node's own notes explain that its dateline claim (1969-01-24) directly contradicts and outweighs the earlier inference from the Estes/Baker scandal references (which remained live news for years and are not a tight anchor), so the dateline is the working delivery date, at its own probable confidence.
