Neville's ten-day return voyage from Barbados

Before Neville's Barbados trip, Abdullah told him he would 'have died' by the time he returned. After three ascetic months with his family over Christmas, on the ten-day voyage north he broke seven years of vegetarianism, sobriety and celibacy in a single dinner aboard ship, understanding afterward that a state of consciousness, not himself, had died.

Source Justified States ¶67passage 526777 (lecture nid 59): 'on my trip north, in ten days, I was doing everything I hadn't done in seven years.' Anchored via two other independent tellings of the same trip: passage 549258 (nid 1928), sailing 'the morning it sailed, on the 6th of December' in a year explicitly tied to 1933; and passage 528245 (nid 1033), 'I lived in Barbados for three months, which is the Christmas season... I was there for one solid three months.'
Reasoning This event's own witness gives only the ten-day duration of the return voyage, no calendar date. Combining two independent tellings of the same underlying trip: the outbound sailing is anchored to 6 December 1933 (explicit '1933... seventeen and a half million unemployed' in passage 549258), and the Barbados stay is given elsewhere as a full three months over Christmas/New Year (passage 528245). That places the ten/twelve-day return voyage north around March 1934. Held probable/estimated given the chain of approximations (a 'solid three months' is itself not exact).

  1. 3 April 1972 stated
Source Justified Statesdelivery claim d1 on lecture nid 59: chrome dateline 'April 3, 1972', certain, corroborated internally by Neville's own 'This is now only April'; the competing d0 (catalog, 1972-03-03) is doubtful, being a copy of an adjacent catalog entry's date.
Reasoning The lecture 'Justified States' is dated 1972-04-03 by two independent, agreeing pieces of evidence (the transcript's own chrome dateline and Neville's internal statement that it is now April), against a doubtful catalog claim that duplicates a different lecture's date.
