It is hard to-classify “Keep It Clean”
as it is one of those theatrical fauna
which is neither comedy, musical com-

Its
main
night's
weakness lies in the lack of special-
ized tulent; its main strength lies in
the fresh and naive spirit of a good
many
of its sketches.
At times
it
hurls a good,
laughable jest at the
audieace, at other times it ejeéts a bon
mot which evidently has nothing to do
with the title, and which would ge re-
markably well in burlesque.
The music and lyrics slightly sur-
pass the general level of the show, and
helped
the amusement

bout as good as most which have
been seen on the gay boulevard in
