The eighth concert to be given by the
People’s Choral Society, of Philadelphia, was
hat of March 26, at Musical Fund Hall
‘The society, whieh numbers over 100 voices,
presented a program that was composed en-
tirely of numbers drawn from the works of
colored composers, and sung under the di-
rectorship of Alfred J. Hill. ‘The chorus
was assisted by Dr. M. [Mildallah Guillaume,
baritone, and the W. H. Cole Trio—Miss
Mildred M. Cole, piano; Harry F., Cole, vio-
lin, and W. H. Cole, ‘eello. ‘The accom-
panists were Miss Elizabeth Benson and
