FOR SHORE CLUB
Reception On Afternoon of Holi-
day and Entertaining Dance
In Evening Scheduled
Members and guests of the Larch-
mont Shore Club will greet the New
Year in time-honored and appropriate
fashion .with a supper dance on New
Year's Eve, for which the table reser-
vations have now been filled for more
than two weeks. There is also a large
Waiting list in case any of the reser-
vations already made should be can-
celled.
Elaborate preparations have been
| made for the New Year's Eve affair, for
| whieh the clubhouse has been suitably
and beautitully decorated with greens.
Illumination during the entertainment -
will be provided by five or six Jarge
color wheels, The classical dancers
Amerique and Neville, who have ap-
peared and proven very popular at some
off:New Yorks most prominent night
,elib,s will stage an exhibition dance
for the further entertainment of the
'six hundred guests who are expected
| to be present. The music will be by
Billy Wilson’s orchestra, and nothing
‘has been left undone to make the sup
per dance an unqualified success.
Members of the other shore club
an@ golf clubs of Mamaroneck and
Larchmont have received invitations to
‘the reception the Larchmont Shore |
Club is holding at its clubhouse on New
Year’s afternoon from three to six
wlock. ‘The officers of the club, assist-
by their wives, will act’as hosts and
hostesses. Music for dancing will be
‘provided by Wilson's orchestra, and a
very large attendance is expected
