A bout Bobbed Haw.
TTHE woman of our party noted that not all
the Frenchwomen, over for the Cesare-
witch, had their hair bobbed. But their hair
had the appearance of shortness and compact-
ness. She mentioned that Miss Fay Comp-
ton, who had not had her hair bobbed, ob-
tained that look of compactness, though her
hair when loose came to her kneee.
“People say that bobbed hair will go out,”
she went on, “ but I was talking to the hair-
dresser to-day. He says if it doesn’t go out
within a year it will stay in fashion for an
interminable time. The growing generation
will have seen nothing but bobbed hair, and
long hair will look so odd to them they will
have none of it.”
Nor was the woman member of the new
exhibition dancers, [Amerique] and [Neville] as
lissom and graceful @ pair ax have been seen
ina ballroom, wearing her hair bobbed. They
began with a tango, with that best of tango
