and calmly expounds his own metaphysical, conceptions
to his audiences. Once you've tuned him in, you're set
for his entire half-hour.
It seems inconceivable that this same Neville, a little
over a quarter-century ago, was hailed as one of the top
dancers of that time. With his partner, Amerique, he was
featured on the old Palace and Hippodrome Theater bills
with such luminaries as Sophie Tucker, Phil Baker, An-
nette Kellerman, Paul Whiteman and others. He was solo
dancer in such Broadway musicals as “Hello Paris,” “My
Princess,” with Hope Hampton, and “Great Music,” with
‘Tom Powers, Two of his most enthusiastic fans when he
toured London with Amerique, were Edward, then the
Prince of Wales, and George, Duke of York.
